Grid cleaning machine is a solid-liquid separation equipment that removes grid residue from water by mechanical means. It is mainly used in the inlet pretreatment process of sewage treatment plants, pump stations, water plants, and food processing industries. Its core function is to use a grille to intercept and clear suspended debris, preventing blockages in subsequent processing equipment.
一、 Type and working principle
1. Classified by grid form:
Arc shaped grid cleaning machine: The grid bar is arc-shaped, and the toothed rake pushes the dirt above the grid bar along the arc-shaped grid bar.
Tilted grid cleaning machine and vertical grid cleaning machine: installed in a tilted and vertical manner respectively.
Chain type grid cleaning machine: Several sets of toothed rakes driven by chains are inserted into stationary grid bars to separate dirt from water.
Rotating grid cleaning machine: It uses densely packed toothed rakes to remove pollutants from the water through the movement of a rotating traction chain.
2. Working principle: The equipment is assembled into a rotating grid chain with unique rake teeth, which rotates against the water flow under the drive of a motor. When the rake chain is guided by the groove wheel and curved rail, it generates self-cleaning motion, and solid impurities are removed by gravity or reversed by the cleaner.
